BBAC is looking at expanding our board of directors, as well as recruiting board members who can be trained and who can then help our non-profit leaders build strong, sustainable organizations. Please contact Stephen Forbus at [email protected] if you have interest in our board of directors. The only pre-requisite is compassion, everything else can be taught.

History:

After recognizing that there are many non-profit leaders that do not have the capacity to raise money and do not have the money to build capacity, Stephen Forbus founded BBAC to help these organizations get unstuck. Because there is so much need across Africa and so many people from the African diaspora that want to help their home nations, BBAC is focused on increasing access to water, education, healthcare, shelter, workforce development, and more to meet the needs of impoverished communities across the African continent.

Stephen Forbus has more than 20 years of experience as a non-profit management and fundraising consultant, serving the needs of hundreds of non-profit organizations across the United States and serving in 19 countries around the world, helping them build capacity, start new programs, establish community partnerships, and raise millions of dollars to meet the needs of their communities.

Building Brighter African Communities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions
are tax-deductible for income, gift, and estate taxes. Our EIN is 99-4926205.
